I modeled the Armbrust launcher using Maya, with texturing completed in Substance Painter and final renders in Marmoset Toolbag. The asset is low-poly and optimized for real-time performance, making it suitable for use in simulation, training, or game environments. Care was taken to maintain accuracy in proportions and details for authenticity.
The Armbrust is a German-made, man-portable anti-tank weapon developed in the late 1970s. It is a recoilless, single-use launcher designed to fire a fin-stabilized rocket with minimal backblast, making it safe to fire from enclosed spaces. The weapon uses a unique counter-mass system where shredded plastic is expelled rearward to balance the forward momentum of the rocket, effectively eliminating recoil. Lightweight and easy to operate, the Armbrust has been widely used by military forces for close-range anti-armor and bunker-busting roles.
