Hamada Type 1 Pistol - Sketchfab
I modeled, textured and rendered this Hamada Type 1 Japanese Pistol.
"The Hamada Type 1 or Hamada Type Automatic handgun (浜田式 Hamada shiki) was a semi-automatic pistol developed starting in 1941 for use by the Empire of Japan during World War II. Developed by Bunji Hamada, the pistol took its basic design from the Model 1910 Browning. Production occurred at the Japanese Firearms Manufacturing Company, with only minor changes made as the war progressed." - Wikipedia
I modeled this after a late war version of the Type 1 variant, and added some minor changes of my own to the design as well. I modeled and UV'd this in Maya, textured in Substance Painter, and rendered in Cinema 4D with Octane Render. Photoshop was used to create grunge materials on the floor and to make alpha masks for various textures on the gun. The overall poly-count of this gun is 2200 polys. Texture resolution is 4k.
