I created a low-poly model of the AASM (Armement Air-Sol Modulaire) missile, optimized for use in real-time simulation and training environments. The model was built in Maya, textured in Substance Painter, and rendered in Marmoset Toolbag. It features detailed geometry and accurate proportions while maintaining performance efficiency for integration into game engines or virtual training systems.
The AASM, also known as the HAMMER (Highly Agile Modular Munition Extended Range), is a French precision-guided air-to-ground weapon developed by Safran Electronics & Defense. It is a modular missile system that combines a standard bomb body with a guidance kit and rocket booster, allowing for high accuracy and extended range. The AASM can be equipped with GPS/INS, infrared, or laser guidance, making it highly versatile for engaging stationary or moving targets under various combat conditions. It has been deployed on aircraft such as the Dassault Rafale and Mirage 2000, playing a key role in modern French air-to-ground strike capabilities.
