SIG M17 and SIG M18

I created high-quality 3D models of the SIG M18 and SIG M17 pistols using Maya and Substance Painter, with renders done in Marmoset Toolbag. Each pistol is around 14,000 polygons and designed specifically for first-person VR gameplay. Both models share one texture set to optimize performance.

The project originally focused on the M17, but because the M18 is very similar and only required minor adjustments, I decided to create both variants.

The SIG M17 is the full-size version of the SIG Sauer P320 adopted by the U.S. military in 2017 as part of the Modular Handgun System program. It features a 4.7-inch barrel and is chambered in 9×19mm. The SIG M18 is the compact version of the M17, using a shorter 3.9-inch barrel and is issued to roles that require a smaller sidearm, such as military police and pilots. It maintains the same modular design and reliability as the M17.
